Michelle’s husband passed away at a young age.
He had always dealt with all of the financial matters, so Michelle was unclear as to the reality of her family’s financial situation. As one might expect, she felt incredibly lost and confused as to what she should do. She had two children and wanted to ensure they would be financially okay in the future.
We were able to assist with the death claims in Michelle’s husband’s name, to ensure that she obtained the correct benefits from them. We could then clarify what she had been left with, and work from there in order to help Michelle get financially organised.
We then created a financial plan to demonstrate how the assets aligned with Michelle’s goals, such as her eventual retirement and helping her children get on the property ladder in the future.
Michelle now has a clear picture of her current financial position, as well as her financial future. She feels much more confident as a result.
She now has peace of mind that she can retire when she wants, and she is able to help her children in the future too.
